Who We Are

In response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Catholic Charities, as a ministry of the Archdioceses of Newark, serves the poor and marginalized and advocates for their needs in order to promote the inherent dignity and worth of all people without regard to race, religion, or culture.

What We Do

Behavioral Health Partial Care (PC) programs are day treatment programs for individuals diagnosed with severe and persistent mental illness and/or co-occurring disorders.  The goal is to achieve community integration by stabilizing psychiatric symptoms with group therapy, individual counseling, case management and medication management.  Pre-Vocational groups assist with employment, educational goals and volunteer opportunities in the community. Transportation is provided.

Outpatient Mental Health Services (OP) programs provide psychiatric evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, and medication management.  Individuals age 5 and up are treated.
