In response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Catholic Charities, as a ministry of the Archdioceses of Newark serves the poor and marginalized and advocates for their needs in order to promote the inherent dignity and worth of all people without regard to race, religion, or culture.
What We Do
The purpose of the Supportive Assistance for Individuals and Families (SAIF) is to reduce dependency on welfare by promoting economic self-sufficiency for individuals who have received welfare benefits for more than 48 months. Servicing Essex County in New Jersey.
