Who We Are
In response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Catholic Charities, as a ministry of the Archdioceses of Newark, serves the poor and marginalized and advocates for their needs in order to promote the inherent dignity and worth of all people without regard to race, religion, or culture.
What We Do
Safe Spaces is a program providing Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to children and families in Hudson County affected by domestic violence. Safe Spaces provides groups for both children and caregivers to enhance social support, provides psychoeducation, and creates a network of extended support while working through other life challenges.
