Who We Are
In response to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, Catholic Charities, as a ministry of the Archdioceses of Newark, serves the poor and marginalized and advocates for their needs in order to promote the inherent dignity and worth of all people without regard to race, religion, or culture.
What We Do
Mother Teresa House in partnership with the St. Teresa of Calcutta parish, serves as a temporary refuge for asylum-seeking families, providing safety and assistance connecting to local resources. Local volunteers and agency interns assist families with self-sufficiency planning and transition to independent living.
